According to experts, the young generation is more prone to pornography and many such cases are coming to light in which people have become so addicted to pornography that it is affecting their health.
Although watching pornography is not a crime in India, if you watch videos related to child pornography even by mistake, then you can get into trouble.

In India, action is taken under the POCSO Act and the IT Act for viewing, downloading, circulating child pornography. Under Section 67 of the Information Technology Act 2000, doing so can result in 3 to 5 years of imprisonment and a fine.
The Supreme Court had clarified in one of its decisions that even if a person is viewing or downloading such content for his personal choice, it will fall under the category of crime.
The Supreme Court had even objected to the term child pornography and directed the central government and the courts to use the term ‘child sexually exploitative and abusive material’ instead.
